My name is Derek Smith

I've enjoyed drawing all my life. Between the age of five and ten, I must have compiled over 1,000 sketches of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, Batman and Superman.  When it came time to earn a college degree, the only option in my mind was to pursue something art-related. I graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco with BA in Illustration.
